God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar said that India and Pakistan playing in the World Cup is not just any other match.
Tendulkar also believes that the Indian team is better than Pakistan at the moment and their batting will play a major role against Pakistan.
Talking about the expectations India has from the team, cricket icon Tendulkar said “Playing against Pakistan means we must win”.
The Bharat Ratna awardee admitted that the best match of his career was with Pakistan in the World Cup.
“Pakistan has an inexperienced team for the World Cup”, he said.
While commenting on Team India, Tendulkar said, “Indian team is better prepared than Pakistan for the World Cup”.
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also cautioned the Indian team by saying that they should not underestimate Pakistan. He went on to praise Virat Kohli and said “Virat is a proven talent and he should carry on his way”.
Tendulkar expressed concern over the fact that India has not played against Pakistan for a while now and they might not be aware of Pakistan’s style. “Saeed Ajmal’s absence will hurt Pakistan in the World Cup”, he said.
Tendulkar has teamed up with Aaj Tak and Headlines Today to provide in depth analysis of the game during this edition of the 50-over showpiece event.
